Yes. You read the title right.
God made sex.
Now before I continue, what I write here is strictly based on the Bible and what God clearly says sex is supposed to be. God never changes. No matter what I or anyone else says. If it doesn't line up with the Bible, it needs to be checked.
So God made man and woman. Male and female. Adam and Eve. God made a man. Said it was not good for man to be alone. Said "Hmm, Man needs someone. Someone to help. A companion. Opposite of what he has and is."
God made the first awesome joke. God said, " Adam, take a nap. I have a bone to pick with you." So God took a rib from Adam and with it made a woman. Eve. And the Bible says they were naked. But with no sin there is no shame.
God gave Adam some tasks. Name the animals. Take care of the animals. Tend to the Garden of Eden And here's a woman. Enjoy each other.
So Adam is walking through the woods, looking like he just dropped from heaven, naming animals and watering some plants when he bumps into someone. Its Eve. She says, "I'm not wearing anything today. For the 563rd consecutive day. :)" I'm sure his reply was "Eve, I have eyes for only you". If she asked, "Do you love me?" he always said "Who else?"
The point I'm making may use humor but the fact is its very serious: Sex has consequences. Good or bad it has consequences. My title is double meaning. God created sex and said it was good. But then there is Godmadesex, as in the man and woman He puts together and says to them "to leave and cleave". See Genesis 2:24. After two people, before Jesus, pledge to honor Him and be true to each other. God put them together. To satisfy the needs He created. God ordained marriage. God made marriage. God made sex.
Someone asked me "did Adam and Eve have a wedding with a pastor?" No they didn't but I do know this. God put them together. And He was really serious about what was good and what He had created. For example: Light= good! Water=good! Animals=good! Trees=good! Man=good! Man alone=not good! Woman=good! Man and woman=very good!!!
So what did God do?
He performed the first matchup. The first blind date. The first wedding ceremony. Darrell the Donkey was a ring bearer. Angels provided the music. God said it was good. Of course this part is fictitious but I hope the point is clear. Actually there was no wedding. No bells. No cake. No pastor. No rings or churches or courthouses. Can you hear "who gives this woman away? Anyone? Milo? Otis? King Kong? Moby Dick?" Nope. God did all this.
God put them together. And that's a truth to us all. We should know in private long before we go public with our vows that this is what God has blessed. That we don't need a paper to tell us we are married but that God knows. Of course I'm not saying don't have a wedding and make it official. Just the opposite. But know long before your wedding day that God has put you together.
It's very well known that kids come from these unions. Pretty much scientific. And the best most rounded and God fearing adults come from a home of two parents who waited till marriage to consecrate it.
Sex is now a joke to some people. Sitcoms make sex sound cheap and not private. Not sacred and special the way God intended. Between two people who love God and each other. Not based on an infatuation but a defined God given and God infused desire.
My biggest issue are these pop songs about "love". These artists flip flop from one to another and think they can tell me how it works and that they have it all together. Please, that's like saying Elmer's glue will keep the tires on my cars. It never works or holds.
If we are getting our info from rom coms, sit coms, and pop songs about "love", we will never know true love.
This is not a finger pointing session or to make anyone feel condemned but to simply help open eyes and realize God's intentions to make us happy and enjoy His creation. Romans 6 is clear about sexual sin. God made sex and Godmadesex is awesome but keep it in accordance with how He created it.
Do you want to make it work? Do you want to be happy in life with your significant other? I know everyone does. Everybody longs for companionship and a loyal spouse. Someone you can count on always. Of course only God will never fail but when your with the person He puts you with you will be happy no matter the circumstance. Let your judgment come from Jesus. I was told by people I thought knew well and heard from God. But I had to hear from God. In April I will have been married 8 years. I am very happy. Every day I am happy to see my wife. She is my helper and my best friend. I knew when it was right. I was ready. I kept myself ready. I wanted God to be pleased. I know some mistake are easy to fix. But marriage to the wrong person or wasting time with the wrong person can be with you your whole life and you may never be rid of that past.
So be ready. Sex and marriage is specialty of Jesus. Its not a game with a restart option. You don't and upgrade or extra lives. Its a no divorce clause, forever bond He made and takes very seriously.
If you have made these mistakes, again, Im not here to point fingers. But don't keep making the same mistake. Don't keep failing. Hate failure. Hate the sin. Repent and seek God's help. That could take a lot of time. But trust and then trust and trust again. Keep trusting Jesus. He really wont forsake you. Really. I know. I wouldn't say it if it wasnt true. And from experience in this. If someone had a cure for a serious disease and what worked to cure him, wouldn't you at least want to know the formula? Then you can choose to choose it! Or choose not to choose the cure. You may have to make life altering change's. You make to forsake friends, family, career. Movies music and time. But you would know in your heart you chose eternal life and peace. Sacrifice the superficial temporary for the everlasting permanent life only Jesus gives. Be the change you want to see!
It's what I do through Jesus,

Super bowl 46 #sb46
So here's my take on this years super bowl.
First off, America should just go ahead and make it a national holiday. What makes a holiday in the USA? 3 things: food, family, and sports. Christmas, thanksgiving, new years, fourth of July, and even memorial day. The Super Bowl is right there. Come on man!
As someone who has watched every super bowl since 1991's Giants Bills I feel like I know a bit about the game. So I want to talk about some of the most important people in sports: the quarterback of a team. Both of them.
Tom Brady.
Tom Brady has been on a terror. He's been lethal. He will find a weakness and exploit it. And whatever power he has over you he will use it. Was it me or could you count his spikes clearly when he dove head first into the end zone against Baltimore? He ate grass. Then he spiked the ball so hard, It knocked rice off Yao Mings chopsticks. In China.
He has been tight end happy this year. Gronk, and Hernandez can attest to this as he threw 51.9% of his passes to them.
He seemed irritated and agitated by Phil Simms comparison to Tim Tebows throwing motion. Tom Brady has been trying to tell us he's the best since michigan and Drew Henson. Not Jim Henson, Drew Henson.
To hate Tom Brady is to hate greatness. And a desire to be the best. And a strong competitive drive. People who aren't already fans of a great team usually quickly learn to hate them.
Usually they find some personal defect like unfaithfulness or steroids. Or the fact they are attractive. Or love Jesus. If you are not already a hater of a team because you are a fan of that teams rival, you are hating for no reason and missing a chance to applaud greatness. I never rooted for Michael Jordan. But I applaud his greatness
Eli Manning
Eli Manning may or not be this generations Steve Young. Wanting to blast the "shadow" of big brother out of the window of the house his brother built. Does 2 rings make him a better player than Peyton? No. But you would have an argument for him as one of the best in the game right now. He said it. Then he backed it up. Big time. In the clutch. When we remember games, we remember big, close games where a player stepped up big. Real big. 2007 super bowl anyone? Tim Tebow created a legacy out of 6 comebacks this year. We remember this. Eli was clutch all year. Most td's ever in the fourth quarter. Ever! Big deal people. Big! 15 to be exact. Mans game!
Both teams deserve to be here. This is not a cameo by any stretch. We leave those for Ochocinco. 9-7 or 13-3, you had to beat good teams to make it here in January. Take nothing away.
The drive and passion of a great player and team is to be respected.
Joe Montana was 4-0 in super bowls. Tom Brady 3-1. Will he be 4-1? Yes
If your're wondering, i'm by no means a Pats fan. Brady fan yes but hail to the Chiefs!
My prediction:
Patriots 41-27 close early but Tom and company pull away. Eli gets a late td to make it look closer than it is.
Steven Ridley will have a Timmy Smith game. I said this 10 days ago. Get ready.

S.T.A.T.
This should be your nickname.
S.T.A.T.
To find out what that means....please continue reading. Often imitated but never duplicated. Stand up straight, its time to illuminate. :)
I played basketball against a very little dude named Tripper once.
He was 4 foot 6.
It was a short-lived victory parade.
He was short on all his jumpers.
He was just short of really bad.
He was running and I saw his boxers. His shorts were too short.
He wore a shirt that said "short live the king". It had a short picture of a short, little, minute, King Kong climbing a short building.
He had a short fall.
He was ok.
He was only a little hurt.
His mom called as soon as we finished and said to come home.
He said he'd be along shortly.
It was a short trip.
Good guys like Tripper are in short supply. He started the Little guy awards last year. He won all the awards for being just short in the short little Guy awards race.
It was a 10 yard race.
They measured him by the size of the square on the backboard. He was 2 and a half squares. Call the short police! somebody stole his height. He ducks under dogs. He ran under my legs. And I was sitting Indian style. He told me he shops at Weasels Wittle Walking clothes for wittle guys. They have little bit of everything.
I know a guy named Larry. Larry is tall.
The ladder company he worked for measured their ladders by the length of his hands.
At college he reached heights they only thought possible by mountain climbers. The tape measure company formerly known as Stanley will be changing their name to Larry. Stanley cant "stand up" to the competition.
He was turned away from the big and tall store cuz he was too "big and tall". The flu cant catch Larry cuz hes so tall. The flu "flew" away.
He has to reach down to dunk. To get across the court he doesnt run, he takes half a step.
He dusts ceilings with his head when he walks.
He drinks from two story gutters.
Larry likes to sit on soda machines when he gets tired.
When Larry met Shaq, Shaq had to look way up at him. He gave Shaq a hug. Shaq got his head stuck in Larry's belly button.
Im glad he is on my team. My defense is bad on tall buildings.
His cousin is known worldwide as Iron Giant.
Larry Had a battle with Yoda. Yoda tried the force to win. Hmm, work, it did not.
He has to duck under the St Louis gateway arch.
It rains about 74 seconds earlier for Larry than for you. And your tree.
Larry was last seen on a search for Alice's bottle of magic potion.
So, S.T.A.T. is Standing Tall And Talented. So, basically no matter size, stature, shade of melanin, facial hair or not, short hair or not, pointy nose or not, God can still use you.
Don't measure who you are by your magazine. But by Gods little book called the Bible. You'll find out what matters.
Ok. Now I'm out like a penguin in Tampa watching Nick Lachey sing opera songs with Madonna. I will go the way of the buffalo.

My Take On Blake
What an amazing dunk Blake Griffin!! Best I've seen!! Lebron got hops but BG got ups hops and dunks!!!! Eye poppin wow!!!
But for me, this doesn't happen in the playoffs. We may ooh and hah now but the Kobe's mikes and dirks are holding the trophy in the end.
Look at lebron. His biggest highlights are getting picked by JJ barea in the finals.
Get it together!

Rock and Worship Roadshow
Had an amazing time at the vbc at the Rock and Worship Roadshow! I just wanted to ya'll know how it went down.
So I met up with Jessica Ryan and Judy at 455pm. Our goal was to get to the vbc as early as possible. We arrived at about 515. A crowd was already there!
Ryan left his wallet in the car. So him and I ran back to get it. There was a ton more people behind us!
Got to our seats about 615. They were decent. Ryan had to buy a shirt for his buddy. I tagged along. I had told Josh to come tonight just earlier that day. So I was glad he made it!
Of course I always want Sarah to go but she stayed with the girls. She's awesome!!! And she owes me for all those girls nights out. :) seriously
A 19 year old sing named Moriah started off the preshow at 630. She sang one song on a ukulele. Yeah it was ok. She sang well.
Then a band from Ireland played and they really good! Rend Collective Experiment. Powerful lyrics throughout their set. They also requested we dance Irish jigs. I declined. Politely of course. Ryan did a move or two.
Sidewalk prophets was good. Short set but good. Reminded me of Mercy Me.
Disciple rocked hard. Lead singer Kevin Young screamed "shake your hair if you have it"!!!! Nice heavy guitar and amazing vocals. A bit of a hiccup in the pop lineup for the most part.
Hawk Nelson was good as always. Playing Friend Like That, bring em out, and Crazy Love. Was hoping for California but we all can dream right?
Lecrae was who I was looking forward to the most. He didn't disappoint. It was fun rapping his music live with 15,000 other people. Energetic yet preaching Jesus. Loved it. Songs like don't waste your life, background, and hallelujah rocked the house!!! I was sweaty after he left the stage!!
For me tenth ave north was the biggest surprise. I hadnt really listened to them. Heard a couple songs on the radio. But after hearing them live, I was really impressed. I felt Gods presence when they played. A must have for my already extensive cd collection. Or possibly iTunes. Hmmm...
Last was mercy me. I've seen then multiple times now and they never disappoint. I Can Only Imagine live is always good. Im sure you can imagine. :) Bart Millard joking about his belly was funny. Better was the guy behind yelling "I hear Ya!!" yeah. That really happened.
Bart has a great testimony with his dad passing. He relates to a lot of people. Didn't know he had 5 kids. Very cool!
Mercy me left the stage at 1115 pm. I was actually a bit tired but felt great. I was ready for another show. This one was overdue. Btw the Hurt And the Healer song by Mercy Me sounded great. Looking forward to the new cd!
The best part was to hear Jesus name glorified and praised. He's amazing and worth every song written for or about Him.
It was good to hang with friends and family. Also got to see my old friend Angie whom I hadn't seen in a while. Never know who you might see with 15,000 people about!
It's also good to see people who you know who didn't use to serve God now serving Him. It's very humbling. And it makes it all worth while. One good change can make you forget 100 bad changes.
Good to see my buddy Josh and glad he is doing well. Hadn't seen him in a few years.
And to Judy, Ryan's mom, sorry if I scared you.
To anyone who saw me dance, yes I'm good. That's to kids next to me.
Jessica, who wanted to leave before the last song, I salute you for staying. You trooper womb mate you!
So, from leaving my house at 445 to getting home at 1145 it was a great night. Reminded me of being 18. Not 29. And no, I will never say I'm too old. Will never be guilty of that!! till the next show.............

How to avoid "uh-oh" moments at the movies
Any of you ever get to a movie and your enjoying it when all of sudden you have an "uh-oh" moment? Or you start hearing really bad language or just didn't realize it was NOT a family film?
Or, most importantly you're like me and don't like to hear Gods name blasphemed or hear the 4 letter word that begins with the letter after E. I notice that films that used to be rated r are now getting pg-13 and pg-13 are getting pg ratings. I have learned to not go by a worldly rating system from Hollywood that will not acknowledge Jesus but is quick to write scripts blaspheming His name.
Quick example: a movie from 2010 called Extraordinary Measures starring Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford http://www.pluggedin.com/videos/2010/q2/extraordinarymeasures.aspx is rated by our "reliable" Motion Picture Association of America or MPAA as PG.
PG as defined by MPAA PG -- "Parental Guidance Suggested. Some Material May Not Be Suitable For Children": The Rating Board applies this rating when the members believe the film contains themes or content that parents may find inappropriate for younger children. The film can contain some profanity, violence or brief nudity, but only in relatively mild intensity. A PG film should not include drug use. http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/question467.htm
So according to pluggedin.com this is what language is in Extraordinary Measures: About a dozen s-words. Sporadically used, a collection of other curse words includes "h‑‑‑," "d‑‑n," "a‑‑hole" and "b‑‑ch." God's name is misused eight or 10 times; it's paired with "d‑‑n" once. Jesus' name is abused a half-dozen times.
UH-OH! I was disappointed because I like both actors and really wanted to see this movie. The previews made it look great!
Doesnt match up does it.
There is a company called clear play that will edit content from movies. I recommend this.
http://clearplay.com/
This is an example. I say all this to say the Bible says to be wise. God is the standard not man. And the less godless we are as I have stated in my previous blog the less any of our "standards" will align with His.
Here are links to the websites I use. The first two are apps in the App store and Android Market. The third is very browser friendly.
Avoid those "uh-oh" moments with these links. May have to copy paste or manually type.
http://www.pluggedin.com/ http://www.kids-in-mind.com/ http://www.jesusfreakhideout.com/movies/default.asp
Again we have no excuse. Sodom had no Bible, churches, Christian music, Christian book store and didn't even know who Jesus was and God destroyed those cities. We are so much more liable than they. Please use wisdom. AVOID UH-OH MOMENTS. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:29 Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth. The New Living Translation says Dont use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and useful. It also means to not subjectively listen to this as well.
Its what I do,
Josiah

Here are links to the websites I use. The first two are apps in the App store and Android Market. The third is very browser friendly.
Avoid those "uh-oh" moments with these links. May have to copy paste or manually type.

About the author
Let me start out with a little bit about myself...My name is Josiah. I am 29 years old. Jesus is the MOST important thing in my life, next my family...Hence the title of my blog. I am really into sports, and I love music and movies.
I work at a call center. It definitely has it's pros and cons, but sometime I just wonder what am I really doing with my life. My wife suggested I write this blog as sort of an outlet. I really wonder what God has for my life, other than sitting on the phone all day. I want to be doing something, ANYTHING that is pleasing to the Lord.
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Sarah for almost 8 years. It will be 8 years in April in fact. We have two darling daughters, Rachel Kate and Emma Michelle. We are currently waiting to find out what our third child will be in just about 4 weeks. My wife, Sarah, is really hoping for a boy. :) I wouldn't mind someone to carry on the family name.
I am really into sports. My favorite teams are the Kansas City Chiefs for NFL Football, Alabama Crimson Tide for College Football, The World Champion St. Louis Cardinals for Baseball, and of course I love my L.A. Lakers for Basketball, Go Kobe!! I watch almost every team play though, I am just a sports fan period.
So, I will certainly write about all of the above but also whatever is on my heart.

There is no good without God
When I see the horrible sins and immorality sweeping our nation, I keep coming back to one thing: we don't respect or believe in God anymore. We've decided that everything is subjective and that there is no standard. We wonder and ponder and scratch our heads when we hear of school shootings and metal detectors in our schools. I don't wonder. Here's why. Our government supported by the people says we don't need God or prayer. No God in our pledge. No Jesus in Christmas. So this is creating problems. THE ONLY GOOD COMES FROM GOD. Not some force. Not some spirit of man or even a desire. The Bible says in Romans All have turned away;all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:12 NLT)At this point God is saying the only good that we can have is by Him. Here in America we want to say opinion is all that matters. God doesn't exist. Proverbs says the fool has said in his heart there is no God. Notice it says heart. He really means it and lives like there is no God. His steps actions and words all say that he does not believe that God exists therefore has a standard. Common courtesy like a signal while changing lanes and simply acknowledging mistakes or when you are wrong are gone. Why? Can't have good without God. So, you may ask Josiah, do you really believe that by following God things will change? Yes. I believe this will my whole being. So instead of Jesus at Christmas we blaspheme his precious name in regular conversation. Instead teach that bible says do not kill. That Jesus in Matthew 7:12 treat others the way you want to be treated we have murder at our schools. Lastly, picture this: prayer to God at workplaces everyday. Prayer to God at hospitals. Before a flight. Before military People are deployed. At every state of the union. Before we pass a bill. What were doing now is not workingAnd imagine any other created item denying its maker and basically trying to block it out and pretend they don't exist nor have laws of existence. Any one with reason would say this is lunacy. BUT WE AGREE TO THIS EVERYDAY.
